*Keep Scrolling for the Hotness*

My Boudoir Besties and I did a thing this month! I am madly in love with several boudoir photographers that I feel so lucky to call my friends. Not only have we all experienced huge growth in our businesses, we’ve also been keeping each other inspired and pushing each other creatively. So, we are going to do our best to literally challenge each other each month with creative prompts. I got to choose the first theme, and went with: RETRO! I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Jessie and I ventured to Platos Closet to scope out their stylishly curated selection of clothing in hopes of finding something for the shoot that day. That’s pretty much how I roll. So, I was delighted to find all three of the pieces Jessie is wearing. We went straight over to West Reading, and pretty much just strolled down the alleys chasing the light. I have spent a ridiculous amount of time in my career being afraid of shooting in harsh noon-day sun. It’s tricky, and certainly presents some unique challenges to master it. This is the second or third time this summer than Jessie has run out mid-day with me to catch the harsh light and this is by far the best results we’ve gotten so far. I think the fur coat put me in the right frame of mind. I mean, just wait til you see it.

I’m so sad that this coming weekend will be the last Girls of the Wild sessions for the year. For those unfamiliar with it, Girls of the Wild is a Saturday session that includes a full studio session + and outdoor creative/fine art/editorial/nude session. The second portion is basically whatever our client dreams of doing. If you want to look like a model in a fashion magazine, I’ve got you. If you want to be a mermaid, we can do that too. I’m hoping to squeeze in a few more sexy outdoor sessions before Fall weather returns!
