Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us? 

A: My friend tagged me in the post looking for boudie baddie. I was in awe of the previous ladies pictures and figured why not apply. I NEVER thought I would be selected but so happy I was selected.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking? 

A: I have struggled with my body image for many years. After having my kids, I’ve struggled with weight for many years going up and down. My ex-husband was very emotionally abusive which helped contribute to my body image. I wanted to do something for myself and feel empowered and see myself in a different light. I also wanted to make sure my daughter knows that you can be beautiful no matter what.

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they? 

A: I didn’t have any expectations going into the shoot. In fact, I was very anxious and nervous. I had a mini meltdown the morning of becuase I was sure I wouldn’t have any good pictures. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to look like what society considers “normal”.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time? 

A: OMGGGGG, so I cried when I saw just a quick instagram pic during the shoot. I was blow away that was me!! Then when I had my actual picture reveal I was stunned. One of the poses we did was a standing full body image. I felt severally uncomfortable because I was afraid it wouldn’t look good. But let me tell you, that turned out to be one of my FAVORITE pictures. It was so amazing to see myself in a different light and actually feel amazing. I cried as soon as I got off the call from the reveal.

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman? 

A: Yes, I feel so much better about myself. Seeing myself in such a different way is empowering. I told and shared my pics with my girlfriends. I feel like my whole outlook has changed. There are really no words to describe how amazing you feel seeing yourself like that. Being so vulnerable and seeing how you can look so beautiful at the same time is amazing.

Q: Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others? 

A: 10/10 would recommend. I told my girlfriends that every female should do this. The way you feel is so incredible. I went in so anxious and left feeling so amazing. EVERYONE should do at least once in your life.

Q: What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio? 

A: DO IT!!! Do it now, don’t wait for what you might feel like you need to do to be “ready”. You will be put at ease and everyone involved in the experience makes you feel seen and beautiful. The support they give is so amazing and real.

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to add to your interview? 

A: Rachel is seriously AMAZING!!!! When I was having a hard time she talked me through it and hugged me. We as women have this picture in our head of what we should look like and she makes you see you do look like that. We are all beautiful and amazing women. I can’t even explain how incredible this experience is. If you have any reservations, you won’t after.
