Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us? 

A: I don’t remember how I initially found Rachel Jasmine Studio but once I did, I was hooked. I started following the studio’s IG page, and got myself plugged into the private Facebook page, which is an amazing network of women empowering each other. I live in a different state than the studio and tried looking at local boudoir photographers near me but after seeing Rachel’s work, nothing else resonated with me. After that, I knew if I was to do a photoshoot like this, it would be with her.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking? 

A: This has been a bucket list item of mine for years now. I made some pretty big changes in my life in the last year or two, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to celebrate my milestones and accomplishments. I’m in a place in my life where I’m so content. I wanted this period of time to be captured so one day, I can have something tangible to look back at.

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they? 

A: I’m not entirely sure I had any expectations. I knew this was an amazing opportunity and I wanted to embrace the whole experience. I think going into this with no expectations helped ease my nerves and allowed me to be fully immersed in the photoshoot.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time? 

A: I couldn’t stop staring at them and had to keep reminding myself that it was me in the pictures. I remember needing to narrow down my picture selection in order to meet the package size I had picked and for every new photo that came up on the screen, I kept thinking, “This is going to be an impossible task!”

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman? 

A: The boudoir photoshoot reminded me of what a bad ass I am. The pictures are soft, moody and sensual but also show a side of me that is strong, and fierce. This experience has made me love and appreciate my body even more. I’m so proud of these pictures and have been sharing them with the people in my life who love me, and they too are blown away.

Q: Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others? 

A: Yes, yes, and yes! Rachel is so personable, down to Earth, and ensures you’re her only focus for the day. She’s hands on and literally gets into the poses herself so you can mirror her. I felt like VIP for the day.

Q: What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio? 

A: Girl, just do the damn thing. I promise you, you won’t regret it! No prior experience is needed. All of the staff at the studio are super friendly and talk you through every step of the process.
