Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us?

A: I first heard of Rachel Jasmine Studio a few years ago randomly on Facebook and started following after seeing her work. I wanted to book because I saw the beauty and art in every picture I saw and just knew I’d love a chance to work with Rachel.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking?

A: My initial reasoning was obviously the beauty and art and I wanted to showcase my beauty after my weightloss transformation last year. I dropped about 70lbs after finding kickboxing. I also wanted to show that even though I’m in my 40’s, I am still one badass bitch!

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they?

A: This was my 2nd time working with Rachel, so I already had an idea from the last session, but I was excited for the white sheet (since I hadn’t done that yet), because although last year I was showing off my new improved self, I had suffered a knee injury this year which made me stop kickboxing and I’ve since gained weight back. But, I know that no matter what, I’m still beautiful.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

A: So excited! Thank you Stefanie!! I so wanted to see everything but especially the Halloween number & satin sheets. I was blown away by all my pictures! It was so hard to decide!

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman?

A: I’m definitely still struggling with my weight gain and knee injury, but seeing these pictures, I’m just blown away! I love everything I saw!! It’s impacted me in the way that no matter how much I weigh, that doesn’t matter because we’re all beautiful.

Q: Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others?

A: Absolutely! Rachel and her team are amazing! I felt so comfortable (even with Frankie the fly who wouldn’t go away at first lol)

Q: What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio?

A: If you’re thinking about it or on the fence, just do it! You won’t regret it! Whatever nerves that might be present go away once you’re hair & makeup is done and you’re posing like the queen you are. Rachel and her team make everything comfortable and easy for the entire session and you’ll feel amazing during the session and once you see the pictures! You’ll know you made the right decision and wonder why you were so nervous in the first place.

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to add to your interview?

A: I just want to thank Rachel, Stefanie, & the team for everything!! I’ve been struggling as of late with the weight gain, knee injury, & just life in general. Doing this for the 2nd time is a total dream come true and I never thought I could do this twice now!! I had so much fun and am looking forward to when my knee heals, I can return to kickboxing, and come back for a 3rd time to show off more of my beautiful baddass self! I can’t thank everyone enough who made me feel as comfortable as I did.
