Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us?

A: I found RJS online by luck and thank GOD I did!! Neither myself or my friends have ever had any experience with boudoir photography, but I wanted to check it out so I googled boudoir photography near me and RJS had sparkling reviews, 5 star ratings, and the most informative and professional yet down to earth website. When I decided to pull the trigger on booking a session, I had basically no questions for Cassidy because the website was laid out so well and left nothing to the imagination. Just by the reviews and website alone, I could tell RJS was lightyears beyond other photographers and studios that came up in my google search. I knew then and there that if you’re going to book a first time boudoir experience with anyone, it’s her.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking?

A: Initially, I wanted to use the results solely as a wedding gift for my fiance, but the more i researched and looked into it the more i kind of wanted it for myself too. Just by looking at the sample pics, I could tell RJS captures only the most flattering angles of her clients, regardless of their shapes and sizes. That being said, I just knew this would turn out to be a huge confidence boost for myself and it will be something great to look at from time to time when I need to be reminded I’m THAT bitch lol.

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they?

A: I honest to god expected myself to be awkward and timid and embarrassed, but let me tell you once I got in my first outfit I was immediately comfortable and ready to rock. Rachel makes you feel comfortable and confident, and she truly is a girl’s girl. We had so many amazing and funny side convos that it felt like we were long lost besties. I did not expect to feel so natural and comfortable.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

A: I legit teared up and almost cried!!! I am extremely tough on myself as so many of us can be, but I literally did not expect to look as delicious as I did.

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman?

A: Yes 1000% yes. As stated above, I am chronically horrible to myself and pick apart every roll and wrinkle and spot that anyone else would probably never notice. This entire experience both during the shoot and looking at the end result has made me look at myself with much kinder and more confident eyes. I honest to god feel like although I’ve got some extra poundage on me, my curves look absolutely delicious and were captured SO tastefully in these images. I did not look at a single picture and think wow I’m embarrassed about my belly / my thighs / etc the usual things I hyperfixate on. I mentioned above that RJS captures extremely tasteful and flattering angles regardless of body size and shape. There are no un-guarded, “sloppy” belly shots like I worried there might be. It’s giving Greek Goddess and I imagine every client feels this way at the end of their experience. I expect to be fed grapes in a silk robe after this.

Q: Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others?

A: Absolutely yes. Especially for someone who is nervous and on the fence about it, I could not have imagined a better first-time experience, and I can’t imagine there’s a better one out there for a second-time either.

Q: What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio?

A: Just do it. You don’t need a reason, do it for yourself for your own self-love and confidence. Do your research, read through the entire website, and come back to Cassidy with any questions. There is nothing you could be disappointed by.

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to add to your interview?

A: Just want to throw out there that Rachel, Casey, and Cassidy are absolute dolls and I had such a wonderful time working with them. These are truly some top tier women and I’m so glad I got to meet them!
