Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us?

A: A boudoir shoot is something I have always wanted to do. I did a lot of research on different local photographers and struggled to find many that I liked. I discovered Rachel on Instagram and immediately was in love with her work. Her styling, posing, and pictures tones were unlike any photographer I had seen before so I knew I HAD to book with her.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking?

A: I struggle a lot with insecurity and anxiety. In this modern age it’s so hard to not compare yourself to the Instagram models/ celebrities you see 24/7 on your screen. And it’s hard for me to not zone in on every little problem I see with my body. So this shoot was for myself. I wanted to see myself in a different light. It also was my husbands birthday and our 5 year anniversary and so felt this also would be a great gift for him. He’s always been so amazing with helping me work through my anxiety and so I was excited to be able to give this to him as well.

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they?

A: Prior to officially booking the shoot I did not have many expectations simply because this was unlike anything I had ever done. Rachel’s pre booking information was so detailed and I felt so well prepared for the shoot because of it. I will say, I fully expected to be uncomfortable in posing and performing the correct facial expressions because being sexy and being in pictures is not something I was used to.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

A: I still can’t get over my image reveal. I am still in awe. I was shocked, overjoyed, and amazed at the quality of them. I would have NEVER guessed I could look the way I did in those pictures. It was the most amazing experience and a memory I really will cherish.

Q: What products did you purchase, and why do you think other women might love the same pieces?

A: I purchased 2 lingerie sets. One was a bra and thong set from Thistle and Prim. The colors in all of their products are to DIE for, so any women looking for beautiful tones should definitely shop there. I also bought a set from Savage by Fenty. This was a great option for women who want a more affordable lingerie option without sacrificing quality.

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman?

A: I can’t even describe the way I have felt since I had my shoot and saw my gallery. It was such an eye opening experience for me. I am now able to see myself as a beautiful, sexy woman. I can confidently say that this shoot was an amazing form of therapy for me.

Q: Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others?

A: ABSOLUTELY! Since my shoot yesterday I have already recommended to her about 10 women and will continue to recommend her. The experience you get at Rachel Jasmine Studio is unlike any experience you will have.

Q: What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio?

A: The advice I would give to another woman considering booking with Rachel would be to please just do it. It’s an experience you will cherish for the rest of your life and the emotional benefits you will receive from this experience are so huge. Rachel will make you feel so incredibly comfortable the entire time and makes the whole process so seamless.
