Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us?

A: I first heard of Rachel Jasmine Studio from a friend of mine. She did a boudoir session with Rachel back in 2019 prior to her wedding and when I tell you she had a rave review… I am bit more reserved than she is and self conscious so I put it on the back burner of my mind and went about my life. But when I got engaged and was thinking about what gift to give my future husband for our wedding, I thought back to that rave review and decided it was brave season.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking?

A: Of course it’s easy to say that I booked my session as a gift for my fiancé, and my friend who did her session with Rachel previously said yes, that’s a great reason. But beyond that, she shared that it was one of the best things she’s ever done for herself, period. The confidence it gave her seeing herself in such a strong, positive, sexy light that she didn’t know even existed for her spoke to me and although I’d be lying if I said I didn’t hesitate in booking, I am so so happy I went through with it!

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they?

A: I was really nervous and expected to be nervous the whole time. I think I just expected to be the most awkward human being on the planet, looking and feeling very uncomfortable and really out of my element. But I will say that I didn’t feel that way once throughout my entire session. Rachel was so helpful in picking out the best outfit options, making me feel comfortable in my poses, and just setting a really fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

A: Blown away is an understatement. I did see my friend’s photos and book prior to my experience so I knew that everything would turn out top quality but I couldn’t of dreamed they would look as stunning and natural as they do. I am so excited to continue looking back on these photos for years to come and just remembering how much fun the session was and how happy I am with the results!

Q: What products did you purchase, and why do you think other women might love the same pieces?

A: I purchased the book and upgraded to receive my images in both color and black and white. I honestly thought going into it that the smaller package would work fine for me but I just had to upgrade after seeing the quality and the images; the idea of not having access to them all was killing me so I definitely recommend going into it with an open mind that if you want to upgrade you should – treat yourself!

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman?

A: I had started really working out and working to get “in shape” for my wedding day and while I was feeling good about myself before the experience, I honestly didn’t really think much of the changes and progress my body was making. But when I got to look at my gallery and see how strong and confident I looked in the images I was so proud of myself and felt motivated. As I get older, have children in the future, and continue in my life I know my body will do great things to support me on a daily basis and it’s nice to have these photos to look back on at this beautiful portion of my life.

Q: Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others?

A: Absolutely 100% recommend! Don’t get me wrong, it is an intimidating thing to do even just deciding to go for it but you will be so happy that you did. Zero regrets here, the experience was worth every penny, every moment of nervousness, and I would go back again in a heartbeat.

Q: What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio?

A: What helped me feel confident about my decision at first was talking to my close girlfriends about booking the experience. I know this is a private, personal decision in many aspects but it was so nice to talk through my fears with my friends and they were really like my cheerleaders giving me encouragement and hyping me up for the experience. And of course I was so excited when I got my gallery back and wanted to show my fiancé but couldn’t yet as to not ruin the surprise so showing my friends and seeing their excitement for me made me so excited about the experience and the prospect of my future husband seeing the pictures in a few short months! So overall, definitely recommend sharing the experience with your hype squad, oh and definitely drink lots of water and stretch – my back was sore a few days after from some of the poses!

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to add to your interview?

A: I am just so grateful for Rachel and her calm, positive demeanor – it really helped me feel comfortable throughout the experience. Oh, and her badass photography skills, of course! I also loved meeting Kasey, she did an amazing job on hair and makeup and was so sweet!
