Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us?

A: I was interested in doing a boudoir shoot pre-pandemic. I was searching the internet for months. I kept clicking on websites and always came back to RJS. I would click between photos on Rachels’s site and the others to compare. None of them did and to add to my list of pluses the studio is 20 minutes from my house. Then the pandemic hit and I had to wait. In the meantime, I hit up her Facebook page and Instagram. The photos are amazing! I couldn’t wait to book my shoot!

Q: What was your initial reason for booking?

A: Me. I wanted to do it for me. I wanted to look like the women in the photos. When I first thought I wanted to do it, I talked myself right out of it. I’m too big, I’ll wait ’til I lose some weight, etc… Then I said um no I’m doing it now. I called, I booked, I paid. No going back now lol.

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they?

A: Honestly, I thought I’d be super uncomfortable. The whole thing is definitely out of my comfort zone. Also, I thought she would have to be a magician to pull off the stunning photos posted on Instagram. I was so wrong! I was instantly comfortable like we were already friends.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

A: Amazing. I was looking at these photos thinking wow how is that even me?!? It was so hard not to buy them all. If I could have I most certainly would’ve. These photos are absolutely stunning and look just like the images on her site. I looked like one of her photos on a website!

Q: What products did you purchase, and why do you think other women might love the same pieces?

A: I started with the Ember collection and added the white sheet upgrade. Then I upgraded a bit more after my viewing session. I ended up getting the 6×8″ album and mobile app. Like I said if I had endless funds to mess around with, I would have purchased so much more!

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman?

A: Absolutely! Before the shoot, I didn’t have a lot of body positivity for myself, like my husband likes my body more than I did. I paid in full beforehand so I didn’t chicken out lol. My photos are gorgeous. Those are me. That’s what I look like. The photos that I thought I wasn’t going to be a fan of were the booty shots….those are by far my favorite!

Q: Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others?

A: Highly recommend! The entire day is fun. Rachel is a great coach showing you poses and how to breathe, Angie is super nice and an excellent hype girl to have, and Kasey does amazing makeup! They all make you feel gorgeous and comfortable. I laid across a bed naked, I’m the one who puts her underwear under her pants at the gyno lol.

Q: What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio?

A: If you even have an inkling like you think, maybe I want to do this…DO IT! It’s an amazing day from beginning to end! I thoroughly enjoyed the entire day. There isn’t another experience like it. And I can’t wait to do it again!
