Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us? 

A: I heard of RJS from a coworker. She showed me the website and as I dug deeper into it, and read Rachel’s background, I was hooked. Who better to take boudoir photos than someone with Rachel’s background? It seemed perfect to me. As someone who struggles with anxiety and low self esteem, seeing Rachel’s photos and reading her bio I knew she was the one I needed to take these photos for me.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking? 

A: I turned 40 last year and I am not in love with myself. My body image is extremely low and I’ve always felt that I didn’t have the body to do photos like Rachel takes. I was hoping this could move me in the direction of loving me for what I am right now, not what I could be at a future point.

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they? 

A: I was so anxious and nervous that I didn’t really have any expectations. I was just hoping that Rachel could see something that I never have. I knew that Rachel takes beautiful photos, I just wasn’t sure how my body type would transfer to photos. I just wanted to push myself and step outside of my comfort zone of baggy clothes.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time? 

A: I was floored seeing my pictures with Cassidy. Seriously without words. That couldn’t actually be me, could it?! Rachel captured images of me that I could only dream of.

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman? 

A: In just one day since my image reveal, I feel like the weight of how I saw myself is lifting. I can see that no matter what number is on the tags that I am sexy. And, not just that, that I can be sexy for just myself without being ashamed.

Q: Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others? 

A: I would 1000% recommend RJS to anyone looking for this type of experience. Do it for yourself. Do it for someone you love. Just do it! Rachel and her staff will put you at ease as soon as you walk through her door.

Q: What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio? 

A: Do the thing. Make the jump, Rachel and her staff will gladly catch you!
