Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us?

A: I have been following the VIP group on Facebook for several years. I was basically a spectator, seeing all these beautiful women in gorgeous, sexy attire with so much confidence, I was just in awe. I wanted to be one of these beautiful confident, women one day!

Q: What was your initial reason for booking?

A: Honestly, I was feeling unwanted, undesired and I needed something to pull me from that crippling feeling. I realized that I needed to do something about these negative feelings and change things for myself. I shouldn’t rely on any other person, I needed to do this, I needed to see myself in a different way. I am a mom of two and was still battling with poor body image due to my breast cancer surgeries that left me with lots of scars and tattooed nipples! It’s had been hard feeling like a women when the things that make you a women had been taken away… For the past several years, I concentrated to much on the scars and imperfections, hiding them as best I could and allowing them to ruin my confidence, that in combination with feeling undesired was heartbreaking.

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they?

A: I was expecting a miracle, because I figured that is what it would take to look like the women in all the other photos I had seen. But that wasn’t the case and the whole experience what fun and enjoyable and not forced. Rachel gives amazing instructions before and during the photoshoot to help you get those poses just right and the angels and lighting were so well done.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

A: Shock and Awe! Was that me? Did I really do those poses? Did I really look like that? Sure as hell I did!! It was unbelievable.. that was me and I was proud of it! The images exceeding all my expectations!

Q: What products did you purchase, and why do you think other women might love the same pieces?

A: Amazon was my go-to! As a busy full-time working mom I didn’t have a bunch of opportunities to go lingerie shopping and sadly I didn’t own any. So I found a lot of great options on Amazon and easily returned the ones I didn’t like or didn’t fit. The prices were great and I really loved most of the pieces I purchased. They worked out great for my shoot and I found some colors I really liked with my skin tone! Also grabbed a set of press on nails and WaLa! Pretty hands!

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman?

A: I have shifted to a more positive way at looking at my body! This body grew two amazing children and beat cancer! Sure, I have scars and stretch marks but they are just a part of this body that makes me, me and the bad ass I am!

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to add to your interview?

A: You get one life and it is YOUR life to live! You have to make the most of it while you have it. Do something positive for yourself every now and then and see yourself for who you are… strong, beautiful, confident, and a freaking bad ass babe!
