Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us? 

A: I’ve heard about RJS for years when some of my friends had sessions with her. I’ve done boudoir before for fun with a couple of friends, but I’ve always wanted pictures done on a more professional level.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking? 

A: I just turned 25 and a lot in my life is changing. I will be graduating with my masters degree in May and also starting a new job. These last few years have definitely taken a toll on me personally and professionally and a lot of my self esteem was deteriorated. I am also the youngest among my family and most of my friends so a lot of time I feel immature and still feel like I’m a child. By doing this shoot, I was able to get some of my self esteem and self confidence back. I also want to prove to myself as well as to other people that I can be woman too and that I’m only growing and changing for the better.

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they? 

A: Some expectations that I had were that I knew no matter what, the pictures were going to be beautiful. Rachel and her team use a lot of professional and high end equipment to make sure that you are getting the absolute most out of your session.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time? 

A: Seeing my pictures for the first time, I was in awe. I almost didn’t even recognize myself at first. The pictures were as perfect as I had imagined them to be. I also like how each picture has a matching black and white photo to enhance the beauty of the pictures too.

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman? 

A: Since my session, it definitely has changed the way I look at myself as a person. Before my session, I did have low self esteem and have been battling with a lot of depression and anxiety recently and since my session, I am able to look back on these pictures when I’m having a bad day which allows me to see and realize that even when I’m going through bad times that I’m still beautiful and can find beauty in any type of chaos.

Q: Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others? 

A: I would recommend RJS to anyone that is wanting to try a boudoir experience. It was definitely a huge investment for me for sure since I am a broke college student, but it was worth everything I could of ever imagined for. And you just can’t beat the high end technology and professionalism the team offers.

Q: What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio? 

A: My advice would be that if you are on the fence of doing it or if you’re afraid to do it, just do it! It was best decision I’ve ever made. Rachel and her team do everything to make you feel welcomed and feel comfortable.

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to add to your interview? 

A: The entire experience from the makeup to the session to the imagine reveal was 100% a great positive experience. Rachel and her team are very professional and welcome you in with very warm arms. I definitely will be booking another session in the future.
