Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us? 

A: I researched boudoir photographers online and after comparing their background, mission, and work, it was a no-brainer for me to book with RJS. Rachel’s drive to empower and heal women, and her attention to the finer details in her work are unrivaled.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking? 

A: 1000% for ME. After discovering infidelity by my spouse, my self-esteem took a nose dive. To be honest, I initially sought out plastic surgeons to change my body. Why wasn’t I desirable? Then, I had an epiphany: It wasn’t my body that needed changing, it was my mind! I decided to do boudoir to begin journey of self love. I wanted my confidence back, my self-esteem back, and my power back.

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they? 

A: I expected to have a badass, courageous experience. I was so right! I expected to be awkward and nervous. I was so wrong! Working with Rachel was like working with a favorite sister.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time? 

A: I can sum up seeing my images for the first time in one word: Emotional. I was shocked and in awe. I never really looked at myself before…not like that… and I didn’t WANT to! Now? Oh, hell yes!

A: I feel braver. I feel more confident. I notice that when I speak to people now, I am looking them in the eye. I no longer feel that I need plastic surgery – my body is perfect the way it is; every body is.

A: For once in your life, say “yes” to yourself instead of everyone else. Do something brave that will impact your self-image and confidence forever. You are NEVER to old! I am 40! I know that RJS has clients in their 70’s. Start your self-love journey and go for it!
