Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us?

A: I first heard about RJS on instagram. I saw a post about a raffle or contest and since I was already debating doing a boudoir session in general, I decided to throw my name in. I later got an email/ call regarding it and too it as a sign to just do it. I am a very un- confident person but after looking more into RJS I took a leap and went for it!

Q: What was your initial reason for booking?

A: I am a very un confident person. I don’t see myself as feminine or pretty but my husband very much does. Our wedding is coming up and I thought this would be a good present for him. Give him some nice fun photos and show that he does make me feel the way he sees me (even if it’s hard for me to see). This also would push me out of my comfort zone and I’m really trying to do new things for myself.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

A: It was so weird! Seeing myself in make up, hair done. I didn’t recognize myself at first but I was like “that’s me! That’s how he (my husband) sees me every day.” Each picture just made me smile and feel really good about myself and that’s not easy for me to do.

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman?

A: It’s still hard to tell myself that I look good but after see into those pictures, I look good! It’s definitely given myself a new perspective on things. I just had a baby in February and prior to take I had started my weight loss journey. My self image plummeted after losing weight then gaining it right back. so taking these pictures gave me the boost I needed to keep going on mu weight loss path.

Q: Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others?

A: Oh absolutely. I had a friend come with me and when I got back out to the car the first thing I said was if you have a chance to do this, do it! It was fun, easy and I’m so excited to get my book!

Q: What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio?

A: If you’re considering, just do it. Give yourself that push, get a couple outfits and go for it. I promise it’s not what you think it’ll be. Everyone at RJS really makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. From the make up session to the poses, it’s easy, it’s fun. Give yourself some grace and go for it!

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to add to your interview?

A: Thank you everyone at RJS for the experience. This was definitely something I won’t forget and will definitely be doing in the future. I loved the process and the outcome even more and I know my husband will love it too!
