Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us?

A: I came across RJS online. I always wanted to do a boudoir shoot but I was too timid to do so. When I came across RJS online, I was drawn to click on Rachel’s page. I started exploring and every photo was beautiful. The best part was the diversity in women because everyone was different in size and their beauty was emphasized. I thought “maybe” I could look like that. After I read the reviews, I knew right away this was the place for me. I booked my second photoshoot less than a year because I had a wonderful experience.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking?

A: A few days before the shoot, I graduated nursing school and I wanted to do something for me. I was starting the next chapter of my life so it was time to see myself in a new light. I never saw myself as those women in the photos. Honestly, I never thought I would be able to look or feel beautiful in that way. I’ve always had low self-esteem about my looks and I needed a huge confidence boost. I wanted a change! I wanted to feel empowered and all things sexy!

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they?

A: I was extremely nervous going into this shoot. I didn’t think I would be able to do the poses or look as beautiful as the other women. One of my first thoughts was what was I supposed to do with my face? Or would I be able to make my face look sultry? I kept replaying the testimonies in my head because they said they felt comfortable and it was fun. I had high hopes that I would be able to feel conformable and not be so timid. The moment I stepped out of my car I instantly felt comfortable! Rachel and her team did not disappoint. I was so worried about being able to move my body into certain positions and making my face look sultry. Rachel coached me every step of the way. It was so much fun how she did it too. There wasn’t a point where I felt awkward or uncomfortable. I was at ease and had a blast the whole time.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

A: The first time I saw my photos I was speechless. I had to do a double take because that couldn’t be me. The girl in the photos was stunning! I thought that couldn’t be me. But, it was me! I was soo happy. It was that moment that I saw myself in a different light.

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman?

A: I view my body differently since my boudoir experience. I am way more confident with my body!! I’m a momma and I had abdominal surgery so I have stretch marks and scars on my belly but they don’t phase me anymore. I am embracing every aspect of my body. I feel empowered by doing my boudoir photoshoot. I am me. I am beautiful. I am sexy.

Q: Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others?

A: Absolutely! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. From start to finish, I had a wonderful experience. I was comfortable in my own skin because Rachel encouraged me to embrace my self confidence.

Q: What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio?

A: Do it for yourself!! You can be as beautiful as the other women in the photos! You are beautiful and embrace it!! You will feel stunning and radiant! You will view yourself differently.
