I absolutely love when my clients let go in front of the camera. It makes me feel like we have really done a great job of mentally preparing them for their experience well before they arrive at the studio.

My goal is to showcase every client in the very best way we can. That starts with our method of gathering information about them prior to their shoot. We always aim for this to be a fully custom experience that is tailored to our incredibly unique client base.

Adrienne was no exception to this. She told me right off the bat “I am very awkward,” and I’m pretty sure I said something like “well, you make awkward look cute as hell.”

Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us?

A: I honestly don’t remember just how I heard about the studio. I’m pretty sure someone added me to the group and it just went from there. I was always admiring the photos that were posted but I always thought I would never be able to do it myself. Rachel did a Boudie Call promotion and I was like ehhh I’ll never get picked but maybe I’ll try it out and see what happens since her work really is amazing. After I was chosen I had my doubts but I was way too excited to let this experience slip through my fingers!

Q: What was your initial reason for booking?

A: I was going through a lot at the time and I saw this as a huge “pick me up”. I just felt that I had to do it for myself regardless of who knew I was doing it or who ended up seeing the photos. I just wanted the experience for me.

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot?

A: I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I knew from social media that Rachel was very empowering and comfortable to be around which made it much easier to get my butt in the door. I knew I would be awkward but as far as the details of the day, I had no clue. Rachel was, in fact, very welcoming, empowering, and comfortable to be around. Her and Kasey made it feel and though I had known them all my life within the first ten minutes. I was also, in fact, very awkward, but Rachel took it and ran with it. She took advantage of my personality and allowed that to build a unique shoot. She works so well with what you have to give and show.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

A: I honestly could not even believe it was me. I knew I had fun doing the shoot but I never in a million years expected so many photos to be as good as they were. My jaw was on the floor and I was completely blown away.

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman?

A: Yes! I was able to see myself through a completely different point of view. A way I never ever though I would see myself. It has built confidence and made me feel so good about myself. It also made me realize how important it is to give yourself a day like this once in awhile. It is definitely a form of self care to be able to pamper yourself like this and see yourself in a way you are not used to.

Q: Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others?

A: Absolutely without a doubt. If I knew half of what I know now I would have recommended it to myself long ago. It is more than worth it.

Q: What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio?

A: If you even have the slightest though of doing it, push yourself to do it. I promise you will not regret it! It will be the best thing you do for yourself!
