Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us? 

A: I have been following Rachel on her Instagram for years! First found her when I was following another boudoir photographer from across the country and Rachel’s page came up in my suggestions. The mood and look was everything that I LOVED! It was also a plus that she was from PA too. My original idea was to wait until I got married to schedule a boudoir with her and have those for my husband. The only man who would be worthy of such photos. BUT! After I had my daughter, a lot had happened and I felt disgusted, worthless, unloved, etc. Like I said, A LOT had happened. Rachel Jasmine Studio was what came to mind to make myself more confident, powerful, and sexy. These were all things I wanted and felt that I deserved for myself.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking? 

A: Ever since I had my daughter, I was extremely self conscious about my body. Even more than I was before. Others would go off and put me down about the stretch marks I had gotten due to being pregnant, along with them calling me a ‘twig’ for my awkward, slender figure. It me feel less of myself and put me more into a depression than I already was. I wanted this experience to feel more confident and powerful in my own body. I wanted to feel good about myself. Not just for me, but for other mama’s out there who are struggling with the same thing. I want them to know that they’re not alone, that it does get better, and that we can power ourselves through anything.

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they? 

A: I had no idea what to expect. This was the first time that I had ever done a boudoir and I was SO NERVOUS!

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time? 

A: I was STUNNED! Could not stop smiling because I could not believe that it was ME in all of those pictures. They turned out better than I could have imagined. Definitely a confidence booster!

A: JUST DO IT! It shouldn’t even be a second thought. Rachel and her team are AMAZING and great to work with. By the end of it all, you will have a whole new perspective on yourself and feel great!
