Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us?

A: Initially, I was searching for a boudoir shoot as a wedding present for my husband-to-be. I searched on Google, found Rachel’s work, and was FLOORED. After that, there was no more searching. I knew I had found THE ONE.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking?

A: How could you not want to book after seeing the pictures that Rachel produces? This was my second shoot with RJS. The first one was such a dream I knew I would be back, and my fortieth birthday felt like the right time. I wanted to celebrate myself and feel empowered (and gorgeous!) going into a new decade. I’ll be back when I turn fifty.

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they?

A: As this was my second shoot, I knew I would feel comfortable, just like the first time. I expected professionalism, laughs, and guidance from Rachel on how to pose my body for the most flattering pictures. I was braver this time and went fully nude. This had me a bit worried; it’s not every day that I stand naked in front of a camera. I expected my nerves to be through the roof. Newsflash-they weren’t. Once again, Rachel was there to hold space for me, guide me, and make me feel seen in the best way.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

A: There is no way to describe what it feels like to see yourself in these photos. I felt so beautiful, so powerful. There are things as a woman that I’ve always disliked or felt ashamed about my body. When I saw my images, they made me realize how beautiful those parts of me truly are. There was not only acceptance and surprise, but celebration of every part of me. Experiences like this are priceless and make me realize my beauty and the power of my body.

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman?

A: My body is to be celebrated. I can’t help but be more confident in myself and more comfortable with my body. To see myself as a gorgeous piece of art with minimal clothing is to be transformed. My relationship with my physical body is more positive and I feel more in tune with myself.

Q: Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others?

A: A million times yes. I have one of my boudoir pictures as my phone background (I celebrate myself!) and bring it out all the time to show my family and friends an example of what they can feel of they book a session.

Q: What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio?

A: My advice is GO FOR IT. You will not be let down. It’s natural to feel nervous, but know that you’ll be well taken care of. You don’t need to be a fancy model. Rachel will pose you. You’ll laugh plenty and feel incredible. The end products are fire, and will change the way you feel and look about yourself. Go in with an open mind and faith in the process.
