Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us?
A: I first heard about Rachel Jasmine Studio from a friend that had a session with Rachel about 4-5 years go. I knew from seeing her pictures that she shared that I had to do some more research and find the creator of these beautiful images. So I messaged my friends about her pictures. This is how I ended up in the VIP Group with all these amazingly beautiful women with Rachel as the empowering Queen that she is. I followed her work for about 2 years before I got the nerve to apply for the Boudie Call. I was so surprise that Rachel picked me as one of the few for the Boudie Call that year out of the hundreds that applied.
What was your initial reason for booking?
My initial reason for booking was to empower myself. I really wanted to see myself the same way I was seeing all these beautiful bad ass babes in the group. At this time I had really been struggling with my self-image and who I was as a person. I was so busy being a mom of three young super active boys, while trying to be a good wife. I was also trying to grow my hobby into a business. I was so wrapped up in all of these things that I lost myself. I no longer saw myself as the strong beautiful young woman.
Did you have any expectations going into your boudoir experience?
My expectation vs reality for my first session was I didn’t really know what to expect. I was very nervous even though I had a consultation with Rachel. Being in the studio with Rachel and her team was soo amazing. They cheer you on, coach you in how to hold your poses. The way I saw all the women in these poses in their images, they just made it all look so flowing and effortless. Which is a part of how talented Rachel is, she makes every pose look so feminine, graceful, and easy. I was like I got this, how hard can it be??.. Well let me tell you what.!. Babes those arches and toe points are no joke. You’re going to work for every pose. Trust me the work pays off with how stunning your images are.
My second session was just as amazing as my first one, if not even more empowering, then the first session. This time I knew what to expect. I was more comfortable this time around also. The poses are no less a work out. This session was a little different in the fact that once your makeup is done, its just you and Rachel for the rest of the session.
What was it like seeing your images for the first time?
I literally cried at my first image reveal. As on OG your reveal was two weeks or so after your shoot. All the waiting and hoping for a sneak peak of your session is all you can think about. So when you finally get to see them its so overwhelming. For myself I still didn’t see myself as a stunning bomb shell that was in my images. My images were so shocking to me when I first saw them. I was like Holy Shit I am GORGEOUS!!
My second session was no less shocking when I got to see them. I really want to buy all of my images because they are all stunning!! I had to have Rachel help me pick my images because, I just couldn’t let go of some of them. This session was more moody and fine art. I still am like there is no way these are of me, even though I know there are.
Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman?
Before my first session I didn’t feel that beautiful or confident most days. I was the usual hot mess mom at home or working. When people would tell me that I’m beautiful. My answer was always no I am more next door pretty not beautiful or an awkward okay thanks. After my session I was like yes I’m beautiful. Since then I have been buying lingerie for myself and taking sexy selfies which has really helped build my confidence a lot. Which helped me rock my second session with Rachel.
Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others?
I have recommended Rachel Jasmine Studio to everyone that I can. I have from my first session and now with my second session I can not stop talking about it. I think I have at least 3-4 friends that are now looking into booking with the current Black Friday Deal. I always tell all the Babes I talk to about my session you have to treat yourself at least once. But once is never enough, you will want to keep going back. Each session shows the growth of you as a woman and Rachel as the creative insightful person that she is.
What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio?
My advice is to BOOK THAT SESSION GIRL!!! Do it for you, you have to treat yourself. If you love and adore Rachel for what she stands for; the empowerment of women, helping women build each other up, changing people concept of what a beautiful body image is. Working with Rachel is so worth it. You might try to talk yourself out of booking a session, for one reason or another. I hear a lot I need to shed a few pounds. I totally understand, I have an extra 10-15 pounds I do not enjoy around may stomach. Fortunately I am here to tell you BABE you deserve this!! You will love every minute of your time with Rachel.
Is there anything else you’d like to add to your interview?
The last thing I have to say is that Cassidy and Kasey are a amazing to work with. Cassidy will handle any questions, worries, pretty much every detail from the time you get your first email about booking all the way up to your session. Kasey is so sweet and is amazing with your makeup and is so easy to chat with while getting ready. Rachel has put the best team together to make you feel loved and cared for through the whole process. When you’re with Rachel she admits such a creative loving vibe while she works. I will always love the time I get to spend with Rachel and appreciate her wicked sense of humor. Rachel is really the best at what she does. It shows with every single Babe she work with. I will not work with anyone but Rachel !! <3
