Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us?

A: My sister pointed out her page to me when she came across it on social media. I looked through her portfolio and I loved her style. I had never done boudoir before and I wanted a complete experience with a photographer who specializes in it. Rachel was just what I was looking for.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking?

A: My original reason for booking was the giveaway. Honestly I couldn’t pass it up. It was just the initiative I needed to try out a boudoir session.

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they?

A: Originally, I was apprehensive because this was unlike any type of photo shoot I have ever had. I was afraid my posing would be too rigid and that I may not love the outfit I chose. I thought I would be quite timid during the shoot and it may be difficult to get comfortable.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

A: Honestly, I was astonished. I was nervous about how they’d turn out, but Rachel captured my confidence and beauty in a way I never imagined. Each photo was stunning, with perfect lighting and composition that made me feel empowered.

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman?

A: Since my boudoir experience, I’ve felt a profound shift in how I view myself. Seeing my gallery was a powerful moment, it showcased my strength and beauty in ways I hadn’t fully embraced before, boosting my confidence immensely. The experience taught me to celebrate my body as it is, flaws and all, and has inspired me to carry that self-love into my daily life. It has empowered me to see myself as both strong and beautiful. I now have a newfound appreciation for my own femininity.

A: I did this experience for myself not my partner or anyone else. I have had children and I lost the sense of who I was as a woman. It can be easy to get lost in the throes of motherhood and lose your sense of self while you are endlessly taking care of others. Never forget how strong and beautiful you are.
