Q: How did you first hear of Rachel Jasmine Studio and what made you want to book with us?

A: I never looked at myself with self confidence or even pretty for that matter. As a teenager, I was teased by children because I was Chinese and called names which left me emotionally disturbed. Some children or people can be so hurtful. Then along came my husband, Gary, who tells me that I am the most beautiful person he has ever met, both inside and out. It took a long time to not think negative thoughts about myself, but I have accomplished my well being. Gary has told me that he would put me on a billboard for all to see how beautiful I am. With that in mind and me not knowing, he did some research to see where boudoir sessions were done. Lo and behold, right here in Bernville. I looked into Rachel Jasmine Studio, but I could not see myself being photographed in lingerie.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking?

A: I finally booked a session two years ago. I wanted to see if I could look as beautiful as these gorgeous models on the RJS website. I was soooo scared to get out of my car to begin my photo session, but sweet Stephanie smiled and told me not to worry, and that I would have a lot of fun. Indeed, she was right!!

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot? What were they?

A: I was expecting my shoot to look like any other pictures that I have taken in my life, but I was sure wrong about that. Rachel’s expertise on photography made me look like one sexy model!! I never thought that I could look like that. Was that really me?? Not a care in the world! It was only about me, me, and me! I look at the album and still wonder if what I see is really me!!

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

A: I was nervous when my reveal day came. How did the photos come out?? Which photos would I choose for my album? Would I pick the color or the black and white? I looked at my photos and saw my face. I looked gorgeous!! Should I say that about myself? I looked at the lingerie I had on and the poses Rachel put me in. What a sexy lady I see!! Was this really me? I have never felt sooo beautiful in all my life!! Thanks to Rachel and her team!

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and seeing your gallery? How has boudoir impacted your body image as a woman?

A: “I AM WOMAN!! HEAR ME ROAR!” sang by Helen Reddy. Rachel has given me the confidence to see myself as a beautiful individual, both inside and out. On the inside, I am emotionally stable. I can stand on my two feet and not withdraw or stumble when I am teased. On the outside, I am WOMAN 100%!! Proof is in the photos that Rachel has shot.

Q: Would you recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio for the luxury boudoir experience to others?

A: Indeed I would recommend Rachel Jasmine Studio to my friends, however, most of them live in New York where I came from. I was sooo excited about my first album that I actually showed some of my close friends. I was nervous thinking they would think ill of me that I experienced a boudoir session. This is not only sexy, but it is art. Beautiful art that both men and women can appreciate.

Q: What advice would you give to another woman considering the boudoir experience with Rachel Jasmine Studio?

A: My advice to men and women is to experience a boudoir session with Rachel. Her work is phenomenal!! She’s got the knowhow and the camera, and you’ve got the body whether big or small!

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to add to your interview?

A: At 72, I can dream of being on a Centerfold. Can’t I??
